Everyone has a story. A story that no other individual will ever truly understand.
This is one thought that keeps me (or at least helps) from judging every single person who crosses my path (not that I succeed every time). Another person’s lived experiences, the circumstances that shaped them to be the person they are today, are personal stories, the narration or exploration of which will never do justice to the experience they had. Families might claim to know better but in reality they get to see only one part of it. And however similar your backgrounds or stories are, you can never experience what the other person felt at any given moment, so quit trying to tell anyone that you know what they’ve been through.
